Katharina Berner is currently a research fellow at the Chair for Public Law, Public International Law and European Law at Humboldt-University Berlin. Being member of a DFG-research group on interpretation and development of international treaties, she is writing her doctoral thesis on subsequent practice reflected in the jurisprudence of domestic courts. Katharina Berner studied German and Anglo-American law at the Westfälische Wilhelms-University Münster and at King's College London. In addition to her German degree, she obtained a certificate in Anglo-American law from the University of Münster and a certificate in legal studies from King's College. Her research interests include constitutional, international and comparative law.
