Markus Böhm is a research associate and PhD student at the Chair for Information Systems, Department of Informatics, Technische Universität München (TUM), Germany.
From 2003 to 2008 he studied Information Systems at Friedrich-Alexander Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU), Germany, and at Jönköping International Business School (JIBS), Sweden. He focused on General Management, IT and Business Process Management, and Software Engineering. As an intern, he has worked for BMW, Bosch, ContentServ and Siemens. Prior to his studies, he undertook an apprenticeship in business administration at Wolf GmbH, and worked also in Human Resources.
His research interests include information management, IT-related challenges of mergers and carve-outs, and IT-enabled Value Webs.
