Robert Vogler studied Human Geography and Lectureship in Jena. Currently he is a researcher at the Institute for
Geographic Information Science of the Austrian Academy of Sciences (ÖAW-GIScience) in Salzburg. He is involved in
several Research-education-cooperation projects funded by the Austrian Ministry of Science & Research dealing with
aspects of geovizualisation in secondary education. He is member of the organization team of the annual Learning with GI conference. His research interests are geovisualization and (geo)communication in education environments, social
geographic theory and meanings of space in (geography) education.
