Steffen Hindelang is currently an Associate Professor at the Department of Law of Free University Berlin. He is also a Senior Fellow of the Walter Hallstein Institute of European Constitutional Law at Humboldt-University Berlin. He studied law and economics at the Universities of Bayreuth, Sheffield and Marburg. He holds a Master of Laws from the University of Sheffield. He was admitted to the degree of Doctor iuris of the Eberhard Karls University Tübingen with a dissertation (OUP 2009) on an EU Law topic. He is also a fully qualified German lawyer. His research interests comprise constitutional law, European Union Law, and international economic law. He previously worked also on liability issues surrounding digital signatures.
